Costs to employers are as follows:
- Employer Annual JITO Membership Fee (one or more apprentices) $168.75.
This is invoiced to the employer at the beginning of March each year.
- Text Books (for each apprentice)
- Glazing text books which are part of the apprentice's kit - TBA.
Each off-job training course costs approximately $1,800. 75% of this cost is subsidised by JITO, leaving $450 as the
industry payment.
Of the $450, the JITO Board recommends that $240 is paid by the apprentice and $210 by the employer.
